Flight Experience

For camp participants only. If you'd like to extend the excitement, inquire about our Flight Experience opportunity. Participants in our four-day camp are offered the opportunity to complete a flight under the guidance of a flight instructor. This is a group flight for the camp participants. We randomly select seats. This approximately 45-minute flight will take you over the Queen Mary, USS Iowa, and the Port of Long Beach. Bring your camera. Schedule on Friday after the camp. Must have participated in four day camp. Ages 9-15

If you'd prefer to bring mom and dad along please consider a Demo Flight. You will get to fly the plane and you can log the time in a log book. Inquire with our flight school about costs for a demo. 

 Private Pilot Simulator Camp- Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM

Lets learn about the private pilot maneuvers and requirements for the private pilot. This is a small group camp is limited to four participants and designed for those interested in the required knowledge, risk management, and skills necessary to get the private pilot license. This mini course is an overview of the required knowledge and skills needed to complete the private pilot certificate. You will hear about all the required knowledge as well as practice all the flight skills on our Cessna 172 simulators. This is a combination of lecture and hands on simulator. Three sessions of three hours in length. You will be working with a FAA certified instructor. $450
